At the edge of the equinox, the trees are beginning to turn from a forest of green to a garden of colors, suggesting an impressionist landscape of ever changing paint and pigments. Now nestled on the Hudson River in upstate New York is a unique art culture initiative, a 40 acre naturescape hosting many beautiful buildings and sharing the incredibly visionary artwork of Alex Grey and Allyson Grey. This is the future site of the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, a permanent gallery, temple and center for events and education encouraging the creative spirit.
From the forges of fantastic at the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors in New York comes the newest ‘Cosmic Creativity’ edition of the CoSM journal of Visionary Culture. This global arts magazine publishes annually and features a planetary pastiche of artists from different genres and traditions.
Celebrating the Circle of Viennese Visionaries, the new magazine showcases Ernst Fuchs, De Es Schwertberger, Amanda Sage and Peter Gric. The journal is a journey through amazing artwork and articles by these pillars of the Austrian art community.
With contributions from all continents, the Journal also shares new work from Beinart favorites Alex Grey, Martina Hoffmann, Gil Bruvel, Allyson Grey, Satoshi Sakamoto, and Mark Henson. In addition are spreads sharing eye opening paintings from masters and
maestras like Mati Klarwein, Hanalisa Omer, Anderson Debernardi, Paul Laffoley and Robert Beer.
Where the last volume was about human/nature this new edition explores the theme of ‘cosmic creativity’ including a spacescape of astrophotography along with commentaries by visionaries and evolutionary thinkers, shamans and shamankas, physicists, spiritual teachers, anthropologists and artists alike.
CoSM Journal provides a forum for the emergence of visionary culture, sharing the work and stories of artists, thinkers, and community builders dedicated to transformative living, and committed to the integration of wisdom and the arts. It is offered to inform, connect, and inspire this evolving global awareness.
