I am inspired by the wonders of the natural world. Slippery succulent oysters; the silvery glint of fish scales catching the light; pubescent hairiness of an emerging fern-frond; the overwhelming majesty of the setting sun; golden pumpkin flowers. The myriad sensual pleasures of the natural world fascinate me. Most importantly of all, I enjoy the creative process. To swirl colour on blank canvas and see a painting slowly emerge, is deeply satisfying to me
