The merged nature of questions forms the shape of the world as we know it. The interaction between language and perception plays a vital part in this process, as can be seen in the demeanour of metaphors. If this is combined with the freedom painting offers, the freedom to give free course to your imagination, it will lead you to my work. In the words of Stein Kruse (chief executive officer of Holland America Line): it will result “in paintings that illustrate an idea, and are highly communicative and often whimsical.
