If you opened up my head it would be quite messy I would think. A lot of stuff goes in there and I feel if I did not let it out, in the form of visual imagery, an eye would pop out occasionally. There is rarely more than an itch when I begin a piece. Surface will speak to me and that which I have put into my head makes its way out in odd forms and strange juxtapositions. Some pieces divulge narratives as I paint them some stare back and challenge. Hopefully those who look at my work will find their own narrative or be touched in that mad place that lies in the corner of all brains.
