My art series "Alien Menagerie" is not a zoo as the name would imply, but a collective of groovy things from other planets.

It is an endless variation on a theme where imaginary beings are featured in a contained environment. Part specimen box, part diorama, part window into another world, it is both a narrative framework and compositional constant. The creatures within are more dream than speculation, not beasts but individuals of feeling and awareness, and sometimes purpose.
