My work is a process that involves creating, recycling and reconstruction. The content and function of these works reflect both a sense of time past and time present, qualities that are in the nature of a relic. I have become fascinated with and am exploring memento mori ("Remember that you are mortal"). I am building sculptures, that are in themselves artifacts, evidence of my efforts, now in the past.
