Persistent images arise, in my inner eye and later in my sketchbooks. Fragmentary and misremembered at first they coalesce in tight sketches. These are the beginnings of my personal works. Mythology, birds, personality science, plastic eyes, sci-fi pulp, inner organs, comic books, Victorian fey, bad dreams, old book covers, and mud-covered dirty magazines I found in the woods when I was eight. Eclectic influences feed into complex arrangements orbiting expressive figures.
