When I was a kid I couldn't wait for the weekend to come because that's when the horror movies came on. That really put the drive in me to want to create my own monsters and definitely had a hand in my becoming an artist. As I became older and started to work with oils on canvas my imagination exploded! I always had to have a few pieces going at once.
My artwork has always been based in the dark art and horror realm because this is where I feel most at home. Painting horrific imagery, giving it a sometimes sorrowful or humorous feel is prevalent in my art. I like to achieve a level of realism mixed with the impossible in my work and strive to become more adept at this with each new piece.
I create art because it is my passion.
