Francsca has been obsessed with anatomy ever since she was a little girl when her dream was to become an anatomical pathology technician. This deep fascination continues to be a constant theme characterizing the entire the body of her work.
She now works on real bodies using the images she sees during the dissection sessions in her drawings to exalt the beauty and perfection that this world possesses.
Her exploratory journey into the unfolding mazes and dimensions of the subconscious have recently undergone a rapid development due to these experiences. She is now maturing the patterns and forms that initially emerged from the endless doodling during the maths class at school… From that starting point she has developed more “complete” works embodying this essence where the invisible layers deeply enmeshed within the paper are dissected.
Her drawings were instantly recognized by The Society for Art of Imagination with whom she now exhibits.
