Genevive Zacconi is a New York based artist best known for her meticulously detailed, classical oil paintings. She learned the classical part through years of independent study, in addition to classes at both the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art and SVA. Her paintings themselves- bold, sharply observed meditations on love, lust, pain and power, have netted Genevive her gallery career. Having gotten her start in hometown Philly, her work now hangs across the country, as well as in Europe and Canada. Genevive has been profiled by MSNBC, NY Press, Coagula Arts Journal, and many other publications. Though her primary passion is painting, Genevive has had experience in various other facets of art. Her credits include roles as an illustrator, art director, and curator.
