Jane Andrews
What we see in Jane Andrew's painting is a world not too dissimilar from our own (it is our world, looked at sideways), it is never quite 'right' - however stable the horizon line and however convincing the shadow and perspective, the world has been slightly twisted off its axis; there are the art historical allusions, the psychosexual symbols, and the references to post-modern decay, but all refracted through Droopy Dog. Jane has work in private and public collections in Europe, USA and UK.
