Jay Davis

I currently paint and teach animation in Austin, Texas. I was born and raised in Louisiana, and I have a deep connection with the wildlife, cuisine and culture of the South. I worked as an animator for Walt Disney Feature Animation from 1994 - 2007, then I spent a year in London supervising the animation for the Golden Army Robot sequence in Guillermo del Torro's Hellboy 2. After finishing HB2 I moved back to Los Angeles and began painting full time before moving to Texas in 2010.
