The ideas that inspire my work arise of their own volition in the same way that dreams arise unbidden and unexpected; then follows a process of research and refinement until something resembling the original conception emerges. Like dreams some of the symbolism is deeply personal and some is archetypal and like dreams they are open to interpretation.
