Highly inspired by the elements of nature and the intrigue of human emotions, my sculptures manifest the idea that we are in a perpetual state of becoming. These pieces play with the idea of commitment to change or being emotionally impelled to change. They depict the process of resolving the conflict created within transitions because it is difficult to trust when entering the unknown. Resolution of this conflict brings about life's negotiations by tapping into our intrinsic strengths to move us all forward for growth, and a returning to balance. Each piece exists to evoke the contemplation of universal experiences that lead to these life transitions in thought or circumstance, and ultimately change our structural composition.
