I was born in 1977 in a village in Germany. Painting and drawing were already part of my life when I was a small child, but I think my skills didn´t become that good before I was about 23 years old. I´ve started to teach myself to paint with acrylics in 1998 - and I´m still learning, always trying to push myself forward and do better paintings than before. I often do symbolic paintings about things that I recognize, but I also often paint just for the joy of painting, then it could be some strange landscapes on other planets or just simple fantasy (but the latter I don´t like to do that much anymore - now I almost exclusively do it for commissions). I'm a freelance artist and illustrator now and am trying to make a living out of that. I couldn´t ever live without painting, so it´s a great thing, even if I´m often short of money.
