I am a Melbourne-based visual artist who has undertaken studies of both Visual Arts and Electronic Design/Interactive Media. My preferred medium is oil on canvas.
Over the years I have been influenced by many artists, most predominantly from the Surrealist movement. I also find inspiration from nature and the space around me.
Most recently I have been exploring environmental issues in my paintings. Climate issues, the rapid rate of decline in natural resources, the massive increase in pollutants and the ever-expanding population has been a general and on-going concern. This has inspired me to explore the landscape, hopefully capturing the viewer’s imagination while offering feelings of calm but also unease.
