The principal motivations in my artwork is the personal connection between us and our inner child, how as we grow older lose that link with our very initial knowledge of the world, how our innocent view of things is twisted to an obscure reality with the pass of time. Our motivation for self understanding leads us to search for answers anywhere rather than looking deep inside ourselves. There, entombed below layers of frustration, of sadness, of terror, but also of happiness, of joy, lies the unique answer to all our questions, to: who we are? It is said that, the way our childhood develops will have serious repercussions in the rest of our lives, I truly believe this, and is because of this, that I look for the revival of that lost link between us and our inner child, as painful as it could be, for there lies the solution to the darkness that overwhelms us.
