"All through my childhood, I never paid much attention to art, and grew up as a typical suburban kid. I always knew I was artistic, but never really spent any time making art until I entered high school and made a few friends that were really artistic as well. I began taking quite a few art classes and developed a real talent for drawing. In college, I started out as a business major, but eventually decided that art was the way I wanted to spend my time. It wasn't until after college though, that I started sculpting. Once I realized I was actually decent at it, I stopped painting (which is what my degree is in) and started working full time on Three-Dimensional art."
