Santiago Caruso

Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1982.

Among his most important publishings you can find: "The Dunwich Horror" by H. P. Lovecraft and "The Bloody Countess" by Alejandra Pizarnik, (Libros del Zorro Rojo); "Three Great Plays of Shakespeare" and "Don Quixote", (Penguin Readers).  He has also made covers for Nightshade Books, Miskatonic River Press, Sudamericana and Emecé, among others.  Nowadays, he makes covers for the mythical magazine CARAS Y CARETAS.

His work stands out both for its vigor as well as for its technique. It is no overstatement to say that the work of Caruso, which is well represented in the galleries and museums of Buenos Aires, is currently one of the most pleasant revelations of Latin American plastic arts.
