Many people say that surrealism died in 1940. On the contrary, it will never die as long as our imaginations and our dreams continue. Surrealism is much more, than a passing popular art trend. It rises up alive and fresh to every new generation. The tremendously, powerful freedom of surrealism reaches out, grabs and takes ahold of people, from every nationality and every generation since it began. Surrealism frees us to be ourselves and to think for ourselves. Therefore, surrealism has just branched out everywhere, into every artistic media, giving birth to so many grandchildren movements and styles everywhere.
