"I was born in Peekskill, New York in 1962. I spent most of my childhood exploring the nearby woods, and this early exposure to plants and animals figures dominantly in my paintings today. I combine the human figure with elements from nature to comment on our interactions with the environment, and also symbolically allude to the dynamics of human nature in general."
