Vicente Arnas

Born in Madrid (Spain), in 1949, Vicente, as a child, has always wanted to follow the paternal tradition and become a toreador. He first started his artistic career as a publicist. His iconography has a very distinctive trait and belongs as much to magic realism as to critical surrealism.

Besides being an outstanding painter, Vicente is also a master etcher. He is especially renown for his set on “bull fights”. Vincente Arnás differentiates himself very strongly among the contemporary figurative Spanish painting scene by his exceptional quality creative talent.
