The main subject of my painting has always been the vission of vivid dreams, in simple words I define it as figurative, concrete, detailed images of an unconscious, simbolic and irrational world. My work stands in that threshold, it is the paradox of two incompatible and sometimes opposite worlds: The real (the way of represent things) with the unreal (the subject of representation). The way this process translates is trough a colorfull aesthetics close to pop art: Pop Surrealism. It`s a marriage between the right and the left side of the brain. A very clear image of where my painting goes is the sensation when the day is strange, when the animals detect a contrariety in the weather and get altered, like the buzz that precedes a catastrophe. A latency, a reberberation; the vertigo. Like Balthus said: "you can be realist of the irreal, and figurative respect of the invisible".
