I'm pleased to finally officially present my http://baroquenheart.com series; somewhat surreal remixes of old masters paintings, from the Mona Lisa to Klimt's Danaë, recreated in vivid tones by combining them with my own style of painting. Look for many more to come...

It’s incredibly inspiring to dive into the vast history of art and connect with other artists and other times. Honouring their work and maintaining the essence of the original piece is something I strive for as I remix. My educational background is in engineering and not art, so the discovery of new artists and even new schools of art is an ongoing process, and the history of the artists and pieces that I’m working with is something that I try to share in the blog as well, particularly for lesser known works.
