New collection: Collagissimo

I'm a Belgian short story writer and visual artist, mainly doing work in a surrealist and satirical vein.
Collagissimo was just published, my new collection of surrealist and satirical collages (in typically Belgian style - think of artists such as René Magritte and Marcel Mariën). It’s a trilingual edition (English – French – Dutch), featuring 38 collages, two typical author’s pictures, and an introduction by Belgian writer Eddy C. Bertin), available from me for $ 13.00 / 10.00 EUR (or the equivalent in any other currency) + postage. I’m ready for your orders…

I’ve also had a number of collages and graphic work published in a variety of English-language magazines. Here’s a short overview.
“Loss of Face: a Serious Case” and “Apprentice Mermaid” were published in the January issue of American poetry and art webzine Puffin Circus; and "The Cool Type" was chosen as the cover illustration for the February 2011 issue of this magazine. “The Man Who Had An ID” and “Micro-Organism” were published in the Autumn issue of German (but English-language) literature and art magazine Sand. Check it out at http://www.sandjournal.com.
My graphic work “Calendar Strike” was published in issue # 16 (December 2011) of British magazine The Delinquent: http://www.thedelinquent.co.uk.
The Fall 2011 issue of The Tulane Review (an arts and literature journal published by the Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA) features my collage “Double Vision”. See http://review.tulane.edu .

And there’s more good news: Irish/American publisher Evertype just published my fantastic / surrealist story collection “The Burning Woman And Other Stories” (http://www.evertype.com/books/burning-woman.html). It gathers all the (mainly short) stories (in English) that appeared between April 2007 and January 2012 in British magazine Vög Volapüka. The book is available from Amazon and other regular channels.

Another collage of mine has seen the light of day: “Be Scanned and Procreate” is featured in the anthology Two Thirds North (http://www.twothirdsnorth.com), published by the Department of English of Stockholm University. Incidentally, this marks my first publication in Sweden.
