A little morphing animation I made. A little twisted.

Postby jonbeinart » Mon Nov 13, 2006 4:20 am

I made this gif animation with a morphing tool a few years ago and have been umming and aahing about posting it here. It is a little twisted, but sometimes you just have to go with it. I am by no means an animator. this was just a fun (and twisted) little experiment

butt hay, it's an experiment right? It's a pretty seemless morph, good job. Of course, spiritually, I could really have done without the tumor part...now I'm going to have to poke out my third eye to ward off nightmares :)

Hahaha. Thankyou. I have to admit, staring at these horrible images for so many hours in a row was a little damaging. These babies haunted my dreams for a while (and every time I closed my eyes). Oh well. That was then and now I have moved on. I just thought it would be interesting to show my darker side on this forum. I did do one other animation like this, but it is much longer and too twisted to show here. I'll just have to leave that for peoples imagination

thats a awesome experiment, love the way it seems to be a continous smooth morph, i have no way of telling how you achieved this and thats usually a first for me since i tend to have somesort of idea of an animation is done once i've seen it, i say 8/10, very cool.

Thanks James. That means alot to me as I am no animator. I used a morphing tool. I cant remember what it was called, but it was a very laborious process. I was happy with the result

Totally cool. The even pacing gives it a very hypnotic effect.

This could be used to raise awareness of lesser-known birth defects, or something.
