Lukas Kandl at Buffon Museum
June 14th, 2007 by Jon Beinart
I just received exciting news from Lukas Kandl. Lukas has been invited to show a series of paintings themed on fantastic animals in the Buffon Museum in order to celebrate the third centenary of the French naturalist Buffon. I would love to see Lukas's beautiful paintings in the flesh, but unfortunately France is quite far from My home in Melbourne, Australia. I recommend this show to all who can make it.
Lukas Kandl will be showing 22 oils on canvas from June 16 till September 30, 2007 at the Buffon Museum, Rue du Parc Buffon 21500 Montbard (Burgundy) France. Open every day except Tuesday From 10 am till 12 am and from 2pm till 6pm.
Lukas is also on of 50 artists featured in our first book: Metamorphosis.

Here is a strange selection of paintings where people wear boats, rats, race cars and airplanes as head gear. Apart from these fantastic paintings, Peluce is (was?) also a sculptor and animator. He created the "Mr. D.N.A" animation for the original Jurassic Park. Visit
