Usually second in a series means not as good as the 1st but Metamorhosis 2 delivers with another great art book . With another 50 plus artists Metamorhosis 2 continues the tradition of the first book introducing us to some of the worlds leading Surreal and abstract artists. The book is also of the same quality as the first with a oversized hard cover binding brandished with the work of H.R. Giger and also contains the same premium quality paper to make sure that the book will last for years to come. If you have any interest in art whatsoever you could not go wrong in buying either book in the Metamorphosis series.

I purchased Metamorphosis 1 (and was delighted), so naturally I was anxious to see Metamorphosis 2. This book is exploding with full color images that are a feast for the eyes. I enjoy absorbing it in small "bites" and found it is a book I have come to treasure.
As a surreal pencil artist myself, I enjoy reading and looking at other artist's work. Metamorphosis 2 is a great read straight through.... or one to just "look at the pictures". Either way, put it on your coffee table with your other art books, in your personal library, or buy one for your local college or high school reference library. Metamorphosis 2 is a trendy, contemporary view of today's top artists. You will not be disappointed.
