This exhibition will run from Feb 2nd to Feb 23rd and will coincide with Scott Listfield's 'Citizens of Tomorrow', Stéphanie Kilgast's 'Relics', and Clémentine Bal's 'Don't Tell Anyone'.
By combining familiar elements with the fantastical, Hopgood creates dreamlike imagery that encourages viewers to see the world with fresh eyes. His work explores the deep connection between humans and nature, spotlighting endangered species and inspiring reflection on humanity’s role in preserving the natural world.
Andrew Hopgood is a Melbourne-based artist who began his career in commercial illustration. In 2017, he shifted his focus to oil painting and began exhibiting. A talented draftsman and storyteller, Hopgood's work highlights the challenges faced by endangered wildlife, fostering awareness and inspiring action to protect vulnerable species.
