Only you exist is the second part of a two-part series by embroidery artist Adipocere. It is the continuation of their first show at the Beinart Gallery, I do not exist.
This new body of work explores further the issues around identity, focusing on the lack of self prioritising over other things: a more romantic/existential selflessness, or something akin to how martyrs might adhere to beliefs to their own physical/personal neglect.
Metamorphosis by Gerard Geer is a collection of bone sculptures that explores relationships between the creatures and plants that inhabit a fantastical environmental space, as well as the symbiotic connections they share with one another. It explores ideas of transformation through connection to nature and suggests a mutually beneficial coexistence formed through shared cyclical bonds.
Tim Molloy's Idyll, his latest series of ink and watercolour paintings, is a sultry, occult sojourn into a stretch of his inner geography, drawing inspiration from (amongst other things) The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath, by H. P. Lovecraft, and the Aquaria paintings of visionary artist Gage Taylor.
