Amandine Urruty

Amandine Urruty draws her inspiration from the paintings of Hieronymus Bosch and the reading of the New Detective, stirring in its wake lovers of alchemical symbolism and buxom (somewhat) vulgar teenagers. The result is a baroque work that plays a balancing act on the border between the noblest elegance and the crassest vulgarity, such an improbable encounter between the Muppet Show and the fantastic Middle Ages.
