Ciane Xavier, originally from a small town in southern Brazil, began her global journey as a fashion model, living in over a dozen countries. This nomadic lifestyle led to a process she describes as identity loss and reconstruction, a theme prevalent in her artwork.

Ciane's artistic journey began in the Philippines, where she started painting and doodling on the walls of her new apartment. This pivotal moment drove her to pursue a childhood passion for drawing and immerse herself in the world of art. She is self-taught in painting and sculpting, continuously learning about different materials and how to integrate them into her work.
In her art, Ciane navigates the complex boundaries of modern society, reflecting on globalization and the distractions faced by the millennial generation. Her characters embody the duality of human nature, symbolizing power, fragility, vulnerability, and eternity. Yet, their vagueness is intentional, prompting viewers to engage in a dialogue and question the essence of humanity.
