Giorgiko
Darren and Trisha Inouye are the duo behind the collaborative experiment Giorgiko. This artistic endeavour conjures a universe of wayward adolescents who move through fantastical settings attempting to find their way home. Their work ranges from minimal character illustration to large-scale classical painting, with a sprinkling of Los Angeles street culture. The two met while studying at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena and combine their respective histories in design with other influences, including hip-hop and graffiti culture. Girogiko has exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, London, Amsterdam, Honolulu, and Hong Kong, among others.
