Kirk Roda

Kirk Roda is a Detroit-area sculptor based in Oxford, Michigan. An Eastern Michigan University alumnus, he earned his Master's Degree in Sculpture through a Fellowship. Kirk's work blends satire and surrealism, inflected with classical influences. He uses a mix of found objects, steel, clay, and polymers to craft compositions that exude whimsy and surprise. His sculptures have been exhibited at notable venues like the General Motors Design Center Art Gallery in Warren, Michigan, and the Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum in Saginaw, Michigan. He's a multiple award-winner, including a purchase award from the University of Michigan. Kirk's works are part of private collections across the US and public installations, including the University of Toledo's outdoor sculpture collection.
