Illuminatural is an exhibition of new paintings by S.V. Williams.

In this collection Williams explores the intricate bioluminescent webs of communication carried throughout the synthesis of plants, animals, and other organisms. Inspired by the flora and fauna throughout the region of Northern California where Williams resides, Illuminatural showcases the soul of evolving ecosystems and the deep connectivity these animals have to their environment.
S.V. Williams was born 1981 in Sacramento, California. He is a muralist, illustrator, and fine artist, known for his highly detailed imaginative creatures and fantastic environments.
Since childhood, Williams has been drawn to comic books, sci-fi, horror films and magazines, which informed his early drawings and painting practice. During the mid 1990’s, he took a deep interest in graffiti art and was prolific in the scene up and down the U.S. west coast, painting trains and productions with fellow artist friends.
In his more recent work, you can find elements of nature, organic robotics, animals, insects and patterns that twist and grow into one another. He currently lives and works in downtown Sacramento, participating in and leading numerous public art projects.
