Hannakin

Hannakin is the creative moniker of Melbourne-based illustrator, crafter, procrastinator and general creative type Hanna Mancini. Hanna has been drawing since she could hold a pencil and constructing, creating and crafting all manner of creatures and miscellaneous bits and bobs with whatever flotsam she could lay her hands on.

Her work is heavily inspired by her childhood diet of Moomin, Alice in Wonderland and Winnie the Pooh, and frolicking in the wilderness of the fairy grotto (Hepburn Springs) with her majestic steed (dog) companion.

Hanna completed a Diploma of Visual Arts in 2009, majoring in painting and drawing and incorporating aspects of sewing and textiles in much of her work.
