Gerlanda di Francia is an Italian artist whose work reclaims the raw, ambivalent power of fairy tales. Through her paintings, she resists the modern tendency to soften or silence these stories, instead embracing their dual nature: destructive, in their confrontation with chaos and evil, and constructive, in their call to transformation and resilience.
