Lukifer Aurelius – Inner Spaces

Inner Spaces is an exhibition of new paintings by Lukifer AureliusAurelius has been using the figurative subject to explore the idea of self as a multiform, dialectical process, inhabiting various states and spaces of experience. In Inner Spaces, the subject appears in solitude but often as an interplay of different ‘subselves’ blending with and differentiating from one another, often in dramatic and ambiguous ways. The subject is depicted occupying a junction between internal and external worlds: junctions between indoor and outdoor spaces and junctions between an "outer" physical world and an "inner" subjective world.

Opening night: Saturday, April 6, from 6pm – 9pm. Free entry. Lukifer will be in attendance.

This exhibition runs from April 7 to April 28 and runs alongside Adrian Cox’s solo show Awakenings & Gerard Geer’s solo show Tidepool.
