In a Fog is a new exhibition of paintings by Meagan “Magpie” Rodgers. This body of work follows the highs and lows Rodgers has experienced in the last couple of years since she became a mother.

This exhibition will run from Aug 20th - Sep 10th and will coincide with Allen Williams' Under the World, Dos Diablos' The Empire of the Innocent and group show Utopia | Dystopia.
The exhibition depicts the gloom of postpartum depression and disorienting aspect of the trying yet beautiful time of new parenthood. It also illustrates the shadows and nagging inner voices Rodgers has encountered while attempting to adapt without losing herself along the way.
Meagan “Magpie” Rodgers is originally from Riverside, California, in the United States, and now lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She has been creating art all her life. Her work invites contemplation through its depiction of subjects in vulnerable states and the use of desolate settings; exploring topics such as mental illness and the heart and mind, they offer a bridge to shared experience. Her work has been exhibited in Australia and the United States.
