Toddlerpillars: Custom Toy Art Show
Toddlerpillars is a custom toy group show inspired by the multi-limbed babies in “Toddlerpillar Apocalypse”, a graphic novel by Christopher Ulrich & Tim Molloy. These strange characters evolved from Jon Beinart's insectoid doll sculptures from the early 2000s.
Opening reception: Saturday, October 28th, 6 - 9pm. Drinks will be provided by our friends at Better Beer and Malocchio.
This exhibition will run from October 29th - November 19th and will coincide with Scott Listfield’s show Unreal and Brian Viveros' show, Dirty Deeds.
This group show is a curated collection of submitted works following a global call for artists to modify blank vinyl Toddlerpillar toys with sculpted and/or painted elements. We received so many incredible submissions that the successful entries have been divided into two huge group...
