Wendy Olsen - Inside The Imaginarium

Wendy Olsen's Inside the Imaginarium is a collection of hand-sculpted works that imagine how the spirit of nature might adapt in a world that’s constantly shifting.

Opening reception: Saturday, June 21st, 5 - 8 pm. Drinks will be provided by our friends at Stomping Ground Brewing Co., Fin Wines and Cré Wines.

This exhibition will run from June 22nd - July 13th and will coincide with Kazuhiro Hori's  FAKE, Liz Gridley's Still Bodies: Dialogues of Deathcare, Izzy Faith V's Soft Gore and Ana Luna's Fever Dreams.

Each piece in this exhibition is built slowly, using polymer clay, epoxy clay, and mixed media—emerging through a process that starts with instinct, not concept. Working intuitively, figures take shape on their own terms, often surprising the artist as much as anyone else. Olsen is drawn to the parts of the natural world we usually overlook—the strange, the small, the misshapen.
