Do not ask him if he’s a Jackolope, I promise, it won’t end well! The Wolpertinger is said to inhabit the Bavarian forests of southern Germany. It is often described as having the head of a hare, the body of a squirrel or rabbit, fangs, antlers, and wings of a pheasant. They belong to a mythological family of horned mammals, with a near-cousin being the Austrian Raurakl. - Camilla d’Errico
