This exhibition will run from March 31st - April 21st and will coincide with Erik Sherman's 'Gifts Of Our Sun', group exhibition 'Wunderkammer' and Ellen Sheidlin's 'NOISE'.

Step into Wiley Wallace's world, where light and shadow intertwine with the fantastical. Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, Wallace's work blends the surreal and the tangible, creating narratives that whisk us away to other realms. Children take centre stage in his paintings, leading us through unseen landscapes with their innate sense of wonder. The recurring motif of the skeleton adds a touch of nostalgia and a dash of sci-fi charm, reminding us of childhood dreams and the mysteries of the universe.

Passing Through is a journey through the corridors of imagination. These new paintings explore ethereal landscapes and enigmatic encounters, they illuminate with glowing lights, revealing translucent shapes and metallic prisms that dance across desert terrains. Curious figures traverse through these strange scenes, their faces often obscured. Each painting beckons the viewer to journey beyond the ordinary, inviting them to wander through realms where reality merges with the surreal. Wallace invites us to explore the boundless possibilities of the mind. In his world, reality is transient, but the wonders of the imagination endure, waiting to be discovered anew with each viewing.

Wiley Wallace is an Arizonanian native. After receiving his bachelor's in inter-media arts at Arizona State University, he left for California to study for a master's in fine arts at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His work, featuring luminous, surreal landscapes and frequent child figures, explores alternate realities and the unseen. Wallace is known for combining playful yet macabre themes, contrasting realistic and supernatural elements to probe the metaphysical.
