Alvaro Naddeo - (igno)RANT

(igno)RANT is the latest series of paintings by Alvaro Naddeo. This collection is a continued exploration by Naddeo of themes of waste, overconsumption, and social inequality.

Opening reception: Saturday, November 5th, 6 - 9pm.

This exhibition will run from November 6th - November 27th and will coincide with Stephanie Kilgast's Knowledge?, Steven Kenny's Natural Sovereignty and Symbiosis, a group show curated by Luke Barrett.

Trash and objects found in the street are valuable, and not only for aesthetic reasons. The brands, logos and packaging depicted in his work are objects with an inherent duality, both desirable and despicable, a clear by-product of Naddeo’s previous, lengthy career in advertising.
