Aof Smith - Unrevealed Traits

Aof Smith's Unrevealed Traits explores the hidden emotional and psychological states that exist within all of us. These are not always clinical disorders, but shifting inner conditions—fear, anger, sadness, pressure—that often remain unspoken, yet subtly reveal themselves through the body.

Opening reception: Saturday, July 19th, 5 - 8 pm. Drinks will be provided by our friends at Stomping Ground Brewing Co., Fin Wines and Cré Wines.

This exhibition will run from July 20th- August 10th 2025, and will coincide with Tokyo Jesus' Eternal Memories, Hannakin's Dream You Sprouts, and Caroline Dewison's A Fantastic Journey.

The figures in Smith's work are not portraits of specific people, but visual reflections of these inner traits. Their distorted faces, fragile postures, and unsettled gestures act as silent expressions, giving form to feelings that cannot always be put into words.
